I'm excited to announce that the latest release of Cleft is now live for iOS and Mac devices. This update brings several new features and improvements to the app.

Experimental Offline Mode

One of the biggest features in this release is experimental offline mode. If you record a note and can't reach our servers, the app will save the audio and transcript offline, allowing you to sync it later when you have internet access again.

Other New Features

• Lock Screen and Home Screen Widgets: You can now record notes by pressing the widget on your iPhone or iPad, whether it's on your home screen or lock screen. Further details here.
• Siri Shortcuts Update: Siri shortcuts have been updated to work even if you haven't navigated to a specific part of the app.
• Zapier Integration: Zapier is now live, and you can find documentation on how to get started with automating tasks here.
• Find: Keyboard shortcut for "Find" is now live with ⌘ + F.
• Save audio files: You may now download your original audio file on Mac and iOS.

Improvements and Fixes

• Faster Note Loading: We've fixed an issue where loading all notes and launching the app could cause lag on starting a new recording, especially for users with hundreds of notes.
• Increased Default Notes Loaded: We've increased the default number of notes loaded for free users, allowing you to see more notes at once.
• Improved Button Hover Information: We've added more hover information to buttons, making it easier to understand what's happening when you hover over something.
• Markdown Removal: We've removed Markdown when viewing transcripts or using the Markdown copy button, making it quicker to get plain text onto your clipboard.
• Smoother Editing Experience: When editing a transcript, the app now returns to the notes for you if you choose to update the notes, reducing friction.
